Naija: In this jungle, you work out your survival... Cos of the rot that's been wrought by... Some say it's the leadership others blame the colonialists. Still, many have come to the conclusion that the rot is the handwork of the Nigerian... If you sit back in hope that it'll drop into your hands, except by God, it may never happen It does happen for very very few... Maybe you and I were not meant to be part of the few....  Yet Naija still stands; a bleeding giant weeping over tears over her dying children... If she had a voice, what would she say? If she could lash out, who would get the brunt of her anger and pain...  We hold it in... Hoping against all hope to make that difference... A few of us get into that corridor supposedly flowing with power; how does a corridor flow.... Hmmmm... But we get swallowed up by the hunger and anger pangs we had buried for so long... We end not allowing the anger control us so we can make that change for the futur...

Leadership: LIGHT AND SHADOW

Leadership: LIGHT AND SHADOW Good art contains both light and shadow. A happy life is one filled not only with sunshine, but one which rides on the waves to produce beauty. The greatest musicians, as a rule, are those who know how to bring LIGHT AND SHADOWS All the masterpieces of art contain both light and shadow. A happy life is one filled not only with sunshine, but one which uses both light and shadow to produce beauty. The greatest musicians, as a rule, are those who know how to bring song out of sadness.  Let's take for example, the life of Horatio Spafford who wrote the song "It is Well With My Soul". Between 1870 and 1881, he lost all his investment to the great fire of Chicago and six of his children to a boat mishap and scarlet fever. What about Fanny Crosby, her spirit aglow with faith in Christ, she saw more with her sightless eyes than most of us do with normal vision. She has over 8,000 songs/hymns including "Blessed Assurance", ...

The Journey of a Leader

WHO'S A LEADER? Everyone. Every one is a leader; called to be a light and an example to some one or some people. While some may lead many, other lead a few or even 1. As far as you have any one or any thing (it must be a living organism o) listening and following you, you are a leading. But we hardly see it that way. Any way, that's not what I want to talk about today. How do leaders stay leaders? In the midst of all that life is, the one who is leading, in any capacity must stay true to that responsibility. For even when you decide to abdicate, there is a hollow and most often than not you never find the right filler.... So how do I stay a leader? Great leaders play to their strength. They don’t spend time attempting to be a jack-of-all-trades. Instead, they deepen their ability to do what they do best, until they do it as well as anyone. In doing this, they give room for other leaders to arise and be. Solomon certainly lived by this principle. God made him the wisest...
THE END: Lately, I've been thinking about "the End".... What about it? What exactly does it mean? "The End"....as in, there's nothing left again... Is it possible that when we get to that bit there'll be an alternative? Or maybe it just means what it means, PERIOD. Nothing after, no alternative. End. When God was creating the earth and the universe, did He have the end in mind? Was it part of His plan or is it the product of man's folly? I don't know.... I guess only the Most High can fully answer that bit of my questioning. Come to think of it, what will the end be like for me and mine? What about you? Will it be sudden or sequential? What are the plans for any eventuality? Yeah, where am I going with all these questions? I'm asking the same thing.... The scriptures talk about the concept of an end to everything... Now some of us might want to look at it differently But permit me to stick by it; how would we fare when it...
